Don't show up with tools in hand ready to compete unless you pre-register.

Competitors must pre-register for the Auto Glass Technician Olympics, to be held October 16-18, 2005 at the Rio All Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There will no on-site registration for contestants due to the logistics and set-up of the competition.

Therefore, if you plan to compete you must pre-register.

"We have to make sure we have the proper numbers of cars, windshields and supplies, which is not something you can do at the last minute," said event coordinator Tina Czar. "So if you want to compete, you must pre-register by the deadline."

There are only a limited number of contestant spaces and they are available on a first-come, first-served pre-registered basis. Pre-registration is available today until Monday, September 26, 2005. Contestants please note they are required to be at the hotel Sunday, October 16, 2005 by 3:00 p.m. At that time we will begin contestant registration and the judging of Sections 1 & 2.

Spectators and attendees can still sign up on-site.
