Auto Glass Technician Olympics Registers First Fifteen Contestants

The Auto Glass Technician Olympics is on its way to another full field of competitors; with one full month left until the registration deadline, fifteen contestants have already registered to compete for the $5,000 grand prize.

"We're excited to see the technicians and owners are anticipating this event as much as we are with their early registration. When planning this event, orchestrating materials, vehicles and other necessary items all hinges on our final contestant count. Receiving such a positive response and influx of interest this early on is a testament to our industry's desire to promote education, safety and the highest level of quality," said Holly Biller, event coordinator. "Last year, almost all our registrations came in the week before the event. We have a limited number of slots available for this competition, so I'm urging people not to wait until the last minute as all the slots may be full."

Biller said a number of DGC companies are holding their own internal competitions to chose a company-wide representative.

The Auto Glass Technician Olympics will be held November 1-3 in conjunction with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE show at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
