ROLAGS Standard Public Commentary Time Closes Monday

In October, the Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard (ROLAGS) Committee issued its proposed standard for repairing laminated glass on vehicles, which the group hopes to turn into an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard. The ROLAGS Committee is a joint work product of the National Windshield Repair Association (NWRA), the National Glass Association (NGA) and other members of the auto glass industry.

As with all national safety standards, the proposed language is open to the public for commentary for a set time period after its publication. The time given for public response to the proposed standard for the repair of laminated auto glass expires on Monday, December 12, 2005.

Those interested in responding to it may forward their comments to the Secretariat, Leo Cyr, 2989 Coral Strip Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 or leo@glass.org.
