Soleras Ltd., a Biddeford, Maine, supplier of rotary targets used for coating glass, has signed an agreement with Applied Films China to sell Soleras Rotary targets.

The market in China has been growing very fast and demand for rotary targets is at an all-time high, points out Dean Plaisted, president of Soleras. "The targets will fill an ever increasing demand for high quality flat glass products for both today and the future," he adds.

"This emerging market provides an excellent opportunity for both Soleras and Applied Films China," states Plaisted.

Soleras supplies sputtering targets for magnetron sputter and arc coating systems around the world. Applied Films provides thin film deposition equipment for architectural, automotive and solar glass.
