State Farm Announcement Forthcoming; Details and Message to O&A Shops Soon

Word is spreading throughout the industry that State Farm is going to enact a change in the use of an insured's deductible where windshield repair is concerned.

A call to State Farm confirmed that an announcement is forthcoming and should be out within the next week, but details of the announcement are not yet available.

"There are rumors out there, but they're not completely accurate," said Bob Bischoff, with State Farm.
