glassBYTEs™ had reported on Monday that State Farm Insurance would be making an announcement within the week to O&A shops concerning a change in policy by the company.

The word spreading through the industry is that the company is going to enact a change in the use of an insured's deductible for windshield repair.

We have learned that there has been a delay in the timing of the announcement and it will not be made as soon as had been anticipated. However, the company has confirmed that it will, indeed, be making a major policy change soon.
