Gary Taylor Suffers Stroke; AG Distributors Sets Up Benefit Fund glassBYTES received the following letter from Steve Theisen with AG Distributors: Industry Friends and Colleagues,
We are saddened to learn that Gary suffered a severe and debilitating stroke the morning of December 27th. Unfortunately, he was home alone and medical attention was delayed for many hours. Gary is currently hospitalized at the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle and has faded in and out of consciousness. One-third of Gary's brain was affected by the stroke and the extent of his comprehension, as well as his ability to recognize friends and family is in question. To date, Gary remains paralyzed on the right side of his body and is unable to speak or walk. His long-term prognosis and the extent to which he may recover is unknown at this time. Gary and his wife Sheila were in the process of selling their home in Boise and moving back to the Seattle area. Gary does not have any short-term disability insurance and as such, the emotional strain of this tragic event is compounded by the financial strain this puts on the Taylor family. In an attempt to give some financial assistance to Gary's family, a fund has been established in his honor. I encourage everyone to please give what you can. Every dollar helps. Please make your checks out to: Sheila Taylor On behalf of Gary, his wife Sheila and their family, thank you for your consideration and support -whether financially or through prayer. Sincerely, Steve Theisen |
