John Baker, instructor for Sandler Sales Institute in Irvine, Calif., will be leading a seminar titled "Sales & Marketing for Glass Shops" at Glass TEXpo® 2004. Subjects covered in the seminar include a how-to for gaining up-front contracts and closing sales without cutting prices. Also offered is a seminar regarding employee related issues. Topics such as overtime wage rules and workers' compensation issues, which are federally mandated and frequently updated, will be discussed, as well as research into what employees want from their employers. The seminar will be structured in a roundtable style discussion, allowing for audience participation.
