Contestant Close Up: Thomas "Tee" Thompson

AGRR magazine and the GlassBYTEs.com daily email newsletter are marking the days until the Windshield Repair Olympics by introducing this year's competitor field with a daily contestant profile.

Thomas "Tee" Thompson of Star/Superglass in Albuquerque, N.M., is making the trip to Las Vegas to compete in the Windshield Repair Olympics.

A recipient of the "Bulldog of the Year" award from SUPERGLASS and an "Extra Mile" Club nominee, he comes to the competition with 20 years of experience in the windshield repair industry.

Thompson, who is married with three children, is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.

The Windshield Repair Olympics is sponsored by AGRR magazine. The event follows on the heels of the National Windshield Repair Association Conference. Both events, along with the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standard (AGRSS) Conference and Auto Glass Technician Olympics (AGTO) are co-located this year with the Auto Glass Expo @ NACE.

The events will be held November 1-4, 2006 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
